Is there a free app available to beam database files with? It seems silly to me that you can only beam prc files, and I don't want to pay for a program like Beamworks for a functionality that should be built into the OS to begin with.

This is exactly what I have been looking for. I was able to download Filez at

BeamBox is also a good PDB beamer.

Yeah, I knew about BeamBox but it is a shareware program (albeit only $5). Filez does everything I was looking for (beam both apps and associated PDB files)and it is free.

    But thanks for the suggestion!

I use Z'Catalog, it shows everything thats on your Visor and allows you to edit files along with beaming them (although the other person needs to have Z'Catalog too).

Does Filez associate PDB files with the PRC file that uses them? Z'Catalog doesn't, and sometimes it's hard to figure out what goes with what.

Filez presents files in alphabetical order, which actually does a fairly good job of grouping app files with database files.

Since there is nothing inherent in either a prc or pdb file to allow a "definitive" linking to one another, I suspect that this is as good as it gets.
