Hi, just curious if Sprint would ever allow (if I complain enough) me to trade my 650 for a cost equivelant PPC-6700. I was sold on the bluetooth capabilities of the 650 and am now learning that it is one of the worst BT phones out there. Meanwhile, i hear mostly good BT stories with the 6700.

    ANyone like my chances?

I doubt it. You're paying premiums for a Treo 650, and that's what they should give you.

You also didn't even mention there was a problem with your Treo. Just because you're not satisfied with the BT isn't a reason to commit insurance fraud, and keep insurance premiums high for the rest of us.

If you recently purchased your Treo, see if you can take it back to a Sprint store and see what they can do. You may have a better chance being honest with them.

Update: Well, after spending time with a Sprint customer service rep manager he got me a good deal. I couldnt do a clean swap but he is selling me a new 6700 for 250 bucks. I am not obligated to send back my 650 so I can sell that for 250, thus making the 6700 free :-)

I love you Sprint and I love the mysterious man that gave me that deal.

Sell your 650 quick! The prices are dropping fast since the introduction of the 700p.
