I was just buying some accessories and saw this.

Is this any good for Wi-Fi?

Do I need any other hardware or cards to use the wi-fi if I should get this?

Wi-fi hotspots allow someone to access the internet without actually paying for service? Is that how it works more or less?

    Thanks.

This is an add-on (it piggybacks on the Treo) which accesses Wi-Fi radios, whether a router, access point, or other computers.

it's chunky and yes it doesn't access the data network of your cellular provider.
