I installed 10.4.7 on my MacBook Pro and now I can't get bluetooth DUN to work with a Verizon 700p!

I tried re-pairing the devices and everything else I could think of. Anyone else getting 10.4.7 to work with bluetooth DUN?

OK, after some frantic experimenting it looks like maybe the modem scripts changed in 10.4.7 (it does refer in the notes to updated support for the 5220 which is the supplied Verizon modem script).

I installed the Verizon Access Manager software 2.2 and it did work. I then changed the bluetooth modem script to the Verizon 1xEVDO Modem Script that the Verizon software installs and I was also able to connect with the normal Internet Connect application.

I'd be interested if anyone else is seeing the same thing.

I'm having trouble connecting to earthlink through t-mobile with my 650 and my MBP. It worked before but now it hangs up right after trying to authorize. I see you have a GSM 650. Can you make that work in addition to your 700?

I had the 650 working OK before the 10.4.7 update, I haven't tried it since.

The key for me was getting a good modem script. I got a shareware program called GPRS Script Generator and used it to generate a script for T-Mobile. Works great. You do have to pay for it before you can generate a script but it wasn't much and well worth the saved effort in getting things to work.
