    Hi

I'm getting errors logging onto PdaNet using proxy mode.

I'm getting the following error message:

"unable to connect to PdaNet Dsktop on your PC, please make sure it is running and the USB cable is connected on both sides (code = 773)"

I am able to connect to PdaNet using normal dialup mode, no problems.

I do find that after a failed attempt at proxy, I have to reboot my laptop to reset everything and I'm able to use PdaNet (dialup) as usual.

    any Ideas?

That's about it. Just reboot your PC and your Treo.

It works for me. Sometimes two PDA connects in a row are required
but once it gets to about 52 bytes for me (Verizon), I know I'm in.

For me, this was a long-time dream, having my notebook connected
to the Internet via my phone, wirelessly, via bluetooth or wired...

So for me, the startup time of connection is slower, but I am getting
the best of both worlds and vastly prefer it to an EVDO connection
where I have no cellphone capability, and no I don't want voice over
    ip.

Soon I'll be upgrading to a treo 700p and that will take me over the top
speedwise, so I'm set for my summer vacation trip back east to be
    superfast connectivity.

    Woo-hoo!
