Why do I have to touch the HANG-UP button twice to end a call?

I have no other apps loaded on this unit.

Is there a preferences setting for this and I have not found??

    Thanks!

Are you sure? There is a slight pause. You click it once and the call just continues?

I have this same issue. It's really annoying! I always use the center button to end a call (long habit from my 600). I have just tried using the red end button instead, and I think that ends the call on just one press. However, I just decided to try that, and I've only had a few calls since.

Yes - the call just continues.

This is the "soft" (screen) button I am speaking of..

When I touch it the second time - it calculates the duration of the call and tells me that I ended the call.

I don't have that at all, either on the screen button or on the hard on/off button. A software conflict?

This is exactly what I see too. The call continues even if the other party hangs up.

Is anybody else seeing this? As copernicus suggested, I've been wondering if it's a software conflict, but I can't imagine what.

you have to touch it once to wake up the screen if dimmed and a second time to hang up. If not dimmed just once.

Here's a tricky solution. Use the hard key.
