    where are you located?

Are the PRL's the same all over or different in different areas?

PS>I hope your not making this up

I have 50565. I believe the PRLs are different based on your plan and area. I have a National Familyshare plan, but if you are on a regional plan or single line it would be different.

No, don't cancel the previous post, I still need to know how to find your PRL version.

But I was able to use *228 successfully.

I activated mine on 6/9/06 since then I've been trying *228 unsuccessfully,

Can someone who just did theirs try again and tell me if it updates again or says unsuccessful?

I'm trying to figure out if... its cuz I just activated it on the 9th, or if there is some problem, tech support was no help...

Its in phone info, but you have to scroll down.

    Here’s How:

Push the phone button, so your phone software is on your screen.

Then push your menu button, bottom right.

Then use your 5-way button and toggle towards the right on your menu bar which is on the top, to Options.

Then using your 5-way button Toggle down to Phone Info.

Using the 5-way button, push the center button, and then scroll all the way to the bottom and you will see it second from the last PRL Rev:

    Good Luck>>>>Matt

I guess I'm asking, does it say "unsuccessful" if you just updated and you try too recently to update again or does it just re update it with the same PRL...

On Verizon it says successful after each update. I can do them multiple times in a row.

What app on the 700p would handle this? Do you think my permissions somehow got changed to read only for this function?

(PS. I'm taking shots in the dark here...)

The tech support guy was no help and said if all else fails I can take it in to a Verizon store and they can re flash it...sounded scary to me...

I just updated mine and the PRL went from 50539 to 50567.

I've tried everything from soft/hard reset, etc... I wish there was a way to fully restore my Treo from a PALM/Verizon ROM...I've noticed my software version is weird, under phone info:

    Software:-/2107/105-
    Hardware: (blank)
    HSSN: (Blank)

    What gives?

Does Palm have the most current ROM for Verizon 700P to restore my palm somehow? Like the updates, but the current one?
