I just purchased my brand new Treo 650 through Cingular Wireless. I'm expecting it's arrival around Friday. I'm excited! Anyone have any words of wisdom for a first-time PDA user? Thanks!

Read the "stickys" at the top of the forum pages. Scan through the thread titles in the 650 hardware, Accessories, Software, Sync, Communication, Multimedia and read the threads. Get the basics working first, then you can install some apps. If you want push email (like a blackberry), you will want Chattermail and an online IMAP account. You can and should do a seach first if you have a question. It is in the upper right. There is a search for the whole board, or on the far right, a seach just for that sub-topic forum. Have fun.

    Thanks for the help, guys!

A quick question...I'm moving from a Motorola V551 to the 650, and I've got over 400 numbers I need to move over, and none are saved to my SIM. Is there any way to easily add my contact list to the Treo without a hassle? I've looked for this info and haven't found anything, although I may have overlooked information.

    Thanks for any help!

Get a 1GB or 2GB SD card for storage of music, pics, videos and reference material. If you are going to use Docs to Go (Excel, Word and Powerpoint for your Treo) (which should be on your Treo or on the install CD) -- go here and save yourself 4mb of internal memory:
