    Hello!

I have Uninstall Manager and when I try to uninstall Ringo Pro with it, it says to either disable Ringo (which I did) or do a soft reset and try again (which I also did) or a warm reset (which I also did). How would I do this?

Uninstall Manager says that Ringo is protected and cannot be deleted.

    Thanks

warm reset and then delete. directions for a warm reset can be found in the FAQ's on this site. It's like safe mode.

I'm pretty sure you just disable it then from the Palm default launcher delete it.

    Thanks for the answers!

khaytsus, I thought in this solution too, using the Palm default launcher. There is another app that requires uninstall by the default launcher (ZLauncher, maybe), and it would be secure.

Has anyone ever had the same problem with Ringo Pro?

    Thanks, reverendrhino!

I think that these app (FileZ) worked well and didn´t cause crashes on the Palm. My fear is uninstall Ringo Pro in a wrong way and it causes crashes on my Treo...

Interesting.. Yeah, the warm reset would *definately* fix it.. But I thought Ringo would uninstall from the Palm Launcher with no problem.

No problem, I use Uninstaller all the time, but it works 99% of the time. The other 1% (Ringo) I had to use Filez.
