Does anyone know which SD cards/mfg offer the fastest cards? The Sandisk I have now seems to be very slow.

    Thanks.

The device is probably the bottleneck in this case, I have two 150x SD cards and can't even record 16KBps voice through my treo. Meanwhile I can transfer 10MBps through a card reader.

I don't know about the newer models, but the 650 sd slot doesn't take advantage of the faster speed offered by high performance cards.

If you're still interested. Look for 150x cards from adata and transcend.

I ordered both in 4gb and the Transcend is slightly faster, but no difference on the Treo

Is the Treo 650 compatible with a 4 GB card? I thought I heard it only supported up to 2.0 GB...

    Thanks,

You can add 4GB support by adding the fat32.prc to a custom rom image.

Whoa...! You just went way over my head. What is this .prc file and where do I get it? And what is a 'custom rom image..?'

    Many thanks,
