I know the 700p comes with FAT32. My question is.... do I need to reformat it so I can take advantage of it? I see scores are better with FAT32. I do not know how to tell what mine is using. I would think its FAT16 since I just took it from the 650 to the 700. Comments appreciated. Thanks

If you have a 2gb card, I think the best format is FAT16. This was the case with the 650 with Fat32. My card formatted for FAT16 was faster than when I formatted it to Fat32.

I had the same results on my old 650 w/the FAT32 patch. I would only consider FAT32 if required (cards >2GB).

Thanks, My card is only a 2gig so I will wait. I thought the benefits of FAT32 would be good. This is the same FAT16/FAT32 on windows right? It must be because the max FAT16 partition size was 2gig if my memory is right. But I also thought FAT32 speeds were much better than FAT16 even <2gig. I will research this. I am also wondering if Vista will be backward compatible to FAT16. For everyone that uses the SD USB adapter like myself.
