I have another one on the way and wondering what's the process to fully wipe my 650 so nothing remains (no data).

Does a hard reset do that? What's the process? Thank you!

Hard reset does wipe it clean. Open the battery cover to expose the reset hole. Press the power button and push the rest pin into the reset hole. Let go of the reset button, but keep holding the power button until you see the Palm logo appear (not the Treo logo, the PALM logo). When you release the power button, you'll be asked to confirm if you want to erase all the data. Push up on the 5 way to confirm.

you might want to try a zero-out reset.......it restores it to factory settings which is the most efficient way to clean data........
