Anyone using appshelf? I don't have a Treo yet, but I prefer this launcher, and it will be a deciding point on if I get a 700p or not.

I've used ZLauncher for years now and like the file capabilities. However, when you talk about launching programs I've come to the conclusion that nothing beats the built in favorite buttons. Whatever I can't launch from the hard buttons, I set up as a favorite button and I have about 14 other apps I launch from time to time. It's really just two button to push, 1. the phone button, and 2. the letter I've chosen for that app. Don't have to take out the stylus. I was using McPhling to launch programs but it wasn't as quick as the good ole favorites system built in.

Ya, that's what I like about the built in launcher. I can launch any program by pressing home, the first letter of the app, or first 2 letters, then OK. Its so fast because I can press those 3 or 4 buttons without thinking, barely looking at the device and as fast as my thumb can move with no need to wait for the screen to change views which in the 700p's case is extremely fast!

"It is the soldier, not the reporter who has given us the freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us the freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who gives us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who allows the protester to burn the flag." -- Father Dennis Edward O'Brien, Sergeant, USMC
