Haven't installed anything but freebies yet on my Vdlx, but definitely would be willing to spend a few $ for something that's really great. What software have you purchased that was worth every penny and thensome? I've already heard lots of recommendations for Backup Buddy and will probably be registering my trial version any day now. Others?

    Silverscreen...

I look at other people's visors/palms using the regular launcher and it looks....boring.

wow, it's been awhile.....things have REALLY changed...why is my Visor Edge still in my hand? Will a Treo fit better?

thinkdb 2 on the pda is free, but the desktop version isn't. However, it's well worth it... I use Thinkdb for passwords, inventories on book, music, movies, a checking register, hours log, savings log, etc. http://www.thinkdb.com.

How is Noah Pro different from the free version of noah?

    Hackmaster (enables software hacks)
    Fitaly (fast on-screen keyboard alternative)
Race Fever (awesome formula car race game)

And I'll second (third? fourth?) BackupBuddy!

WordSmith and NoahPro. Noah pro because it has the full lite version, the only way I get all the words I need on my visor. The Devil's Dictionary is rather humorous as well. Makes it worth the $20 IMO.

Does SilverScreen allow for small icons in the launcher? I can't stand not having the whole list on the screen at once. I have too many apps in my 'Main' category to fit on the screen otherwise.

It looks like a nice launcher but death to scrollbars! I currently use Handscape.

To add to this thread, my most useful and worthwhile pay software list is:

    AutoMobil
    Gulliver
    UltraSoft Money
    QuickOffice
    Hackmaster
    MagicText
    MemoPlus
    PalmJournal
and last but definatley not least Datebk4.
Oh yeah and BackupBuddy... You never see it so it's out of mind. Don't leave home without it!

yes, in the bottom left corner of the screen are 2 arrows pointing away from eachother (or similar depending on 'theme') click on that and you'll switch to small icon list view. it'll list a bunch of apps.

It's amazing how brilliant minds tend to think the same:

Silverscreen (What's your favorite theme/icon set?)
    Datebk 4
    Popup Note,Time,Names They're all nice
    Shadow Plan
