I don't have a 700p. But I do have a 650 that I use the shure i3ct. they sound awesome. I also have another pair of E4c forb my psp they sound even better. I refuse to use a audio adapter to listen to music on my treo, I am too worried about breaking the jack.

I used Bose in ear version, returned. Used Shures, but they are for ipods (you MUST use converting jack etc to make it work on Treo). And trust me, all shures headphones lack mobility due to its wires. It just grab my clothings. I hate it when just moving my head pops out jack or ear plug out of my ear, errrrrrrr. And those hybrid ones from Shure just for Treos just give me pain in ear (it goes all the way inside your ear) and still lack BASE.
I love Palm stereo headphone that came with my Treo700P. Just add slic sound ear gels (I dont remember exactly what its called, I will update it when i get home) to spice it up and voila. You got one of the BEST sound you will ever hear. I guarantee it.
Be ready to rumble cause these babies can produce some serious Base. Try it you will love it. I bet my 9 hour non stop flight to London that I enjoyed last month with above mentioned babies .

Try to use this with headphone of your choice and you will find out very soon what a pain that setup can be. Wires are pain, add a hybrid adapter is like delivering a baby . Count me on this. Very painful if you use it often like I do.

Although I just bought some E3C's last week, and I am VERY happy with them, I just also bought some of the Bose earbuds. I'll post a review after I get them and try them out. I have always been a huge Bose fan!!

Many people have commented about the headphones that came with the 700p. I have the 700p with VZW and all I got was one earbud. Does the 700p for Sprint come with a pair meaning that there are 2 earbuds. Do they work well, with music coming out of both sides. Everything I have tried has only given me music in 1 of the earbuds. When I had the vx6700 the same ones would give me music in both. I appreciate your help.

These are the headphones I'm using (I'm serious!):

    http://thumbs.ebaystatic.com/pict/150057794742.jpg

They're clone ipod headphones but with a 2.5 mm jack. Only $10 bucks! They don't have a mic on 'em but I just flip the treo over and speak into its microphone if a call comes in, no big deal, the call stills comes through the headphones.

Shure i-4c-t is an amazing headset (that also doubles as a phone wireless headset)

My only complaint is that the noise cancellation effect of this headphones works too well. I can't hear anything or have a conversation with them in, even if the volume is all the way down.

I just wish I had a hangup button on the headset. So I could use magicbutton or HEADSETCONTROL.

    Ha that's cool.
I have those, but they dont sound too good.
Thats cool about the speaker phone trick. doh! i didnt even think of that

btw i use these 2.5mm version and they are great. A lot better than the oem ones and bass is good + it has volume control. It used to match with my sprint treo 650, but now it works just as good on my 700p.

I just got my Bose TriPort IE's and, well, I expected them to be much better to be perfectly honest. The bass is great (better than the E3C's) but at higher volumes they get a little crunchy and distorted. I did a side by side comparison with the Shure E3C's and the E3C's win hands down.

They are very comfortable though and make a great backup pair. I won't be able to thoroughly evaluate them until I fly again on Sunday...
