Resco Backup - support is outstanding. Also have Backup Buddy but there are reports of problems restoring some PIM databases. BackupMan caused random soft resets. All latest versions.

Have you been having success with restores, and scheduled backups?

Yes, no problems with either yet. You might want to check out the Resco Backup forum at:

It doesn't look like resco backup is working correctly on the 700p yet. I used to use backupman. I wanted to hear what everyone was using, and having success with. Thanks.

It works fine for me. Don't know how to be any clearer.

I just tried out backupman, I downloaded the latest version from bitsnbolt website. Is it supposed to reset after it does a backup?

No, that is a bug/problem that I, and others here, have been experiencing. Tried it with the phone turned on and off and resets no matter what. So I have no confidence that a full usable backup is being created.

gt5l, why did you only use navbackup "daily" backup? short coming? and isn't that the open source backup app?

    Is navbackup NV backup?

I'm using backupman 1.54 from the 650, and it works so well I haven't needed to upgrade that mess. I've even had to restore once already (reset loop after I installed card export), not a problem in sight.

I'm using BackupMan 1.55 becuse my Reg code only works for 1.xx version. But I have run scheduled backups, manual backups and done a full restore after a Hard Reset.

All appear to have worked flawlessly.
