    I had my sync working then all of the sudden this morning it stopped syncing my calendar and contacts. I get a message that ...

    "The Notifier file 'C:\Progra~1\PalmOne\PACKAG~1\NPInstal.dll' was not found. Notifiers are used by HotSync Manager to inform other applications about synchronizations sessions. Please check your configuration to correct this problem."

    I have tried uninstalling and even editing the registry per something I found on another site.

    But nothing is working. I called Sprint per the instructions on Palm's web site and after 90 minutes they escalated it and told me they'd get back to me in a few days.

    Has anybody else seen anything like this?

    Yeah, I can't for the life of me get my contacts to sync. I tried having the Handheld overwrite the Desktop, synchronize the files and nothing works. I already laboriously IR'd 70 contacts onto my 700 from my UX-50 and since I fear using Agendus on the 700 because of all of the horror stories, I certainly don't want to have to keep repeating that exercise over and over again.

    Any ideas anyone?

    Thank God for Backupman. He writes good code.

    I got my stuff to sync using Pocket Mirror XT (www.chapura.com). It is a better conduit for Outlook. I still have the error I was getting, but this does the trick. The only problem is that the time zones don't appear to be syncing over.

    BUT... this is a whole lot better than what I was dealing with.

    Found this solution in another forum. Download and install the PalmSource Installer to fix this error message:

    700P with Sprint. Just HotSync, and lost many, many calendar items (everything except repeating annual events)on both handhled and desktop. I use Palm Desktop, not Outlook for calendar. Log message:
    -- Calendar
    - Some handheld records were not copied to your PC. Your computer may be full or you may have reached the maximum allowed records on the desktop. To correct this situation, delete some records and perform a HotSync operation again.
    Desktop = 6669, Handheld = 6659

    or directly here:
