    Oringinal Post:

I have a Treo that is a Cingular branded Treo that looks like it was updated to Firmware 1.71, and Software Treo650-1.13-ROW.

When I try to update to latest software from the Palm site (Cingular or ROW) the update craps out.

I assume I need to roll-back from 1.13-ROW to an earlier Cingular version and then use the official Cingular update from there. Correct?

I tried to search out how to do this, but there are so many confusing threads on this - can someone point me in the right direction?

    Thanks.

    UPDATE:

    Found everything I needed -

    1) Update to FW1.23-ROW (http://discussion.treocentral.com/sh...ad.php?t=87669)

    2) Use official updater to go to 1.71/1.20-ENA (http://www.palm.com/us/support/downl...lockedgsm.html)

I'm not in the position to help as of now.
I would suggest looking for some of the Roms prebuilt by Jamesgangut. There are also some in the Thread: "Custom Rom - Tips & Tricks" that I believe will just run right over what you have now. I personally prefer 1.20 ENA.
I will ck back later, to see how your doing.
Sorry I couldn't give you more time at this moment.
