Not sure if this has been posted before. Found this on Palm's web-site. Bluetooth compatibility list for the Treo 700p (Sprint Version). As you can see from the list, Plantronics 510 is not supported. Figures, that one of the best headsets for the Treo 650 doesn't work with the 700p.

Not a criticism of you, but of Palm. Did anyone notice the Sony Ericsson HBH-660 is listed as both supported and not supported? Gives me lots of faith in their checking of this list!

So does this mean the 700p transfers callerID to the headsets?

I think he is refering to the Sony Ericsson HBH-660 which has a LCD Caller ID display.

Really? WOW! A BT headset has a caller ID display? I must not be keeping up with the techno stuff.

The Jabra BT800 has it too (and is on the "supported" list.)

Anyone have luck with other USB bluetooth adapters? I am looking to buy a cheap one for my desktop.

I think I know why HBH-660 is one both lists...mine works for a while, but then disconnects randomly (worked great with Treo 650 btw). So, if you try it out, sometimes it works...and sometimes is don't.

I have a Parrot CK-3100 car kit and it's working great with the 700p. In fact, I had to turn on my Treo 650 before it was detected while the 700p is detected automagically.

I would guess one of those should be the 662. As a 662 owner, I'm curious to know which list it belongs on.

My old Jabra 250 still works. Not much difference from the 650 in terms of clarity and static though.

Maybe not supported, but I am using a Voyager 510 on my 700P (VZW) and at work on my desk phone dock without any issues. It actually works better than on my 650. They probably did not test it yet.

Good point. The headsets in their list are probably just the ones they tested. Most likely any Bluetooth headset should work fine, just don't expect excellent results due to the weak BT radio in the Treo's.

No mention of the jabra bt620s. Thats the on I really want. Especily when the new Softick Audio Gateway comes out.

My 700p is working with my 06 Prius. By "working" i mean the hands free profile works, the signal meter is displayed but not battery meter. I didn't try and transfer the phone book as I don't have that many contacts. So, it's working the exact same way it was with my 650.

Works just fine with my Logitech Mobile Freedom HS02, I use it on the computer for Skype and switch to the Treo no problem.
