I seem to have a new problem with the 700p. Recieved my 700p on Tuesday and it appears fine except for one strange problem. I have used the phone for around 250 minutes so far, if I check liftimer with ##786# it shows 2363.
I have checked a few times aftrer a call and the minutes used jumps by up to 100 minures per call even on a 1 to 2 minute call. Other times I will check and it will advance by the correct number of minutes.
My main concern is could this glitch be indicative of a software hardware problem that my cause problems in the future?
    Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I have the same thing on mine. I wonder if it counts data in the minutes?

Don't think so my minute timer is at 2490 minutes while my data timer is at 71898 kb's.

    Weird...

Yup. I just did a test.

I called my phone, answered and hung up.

Call timer went from 4908 to 5437. Not even a minute of actual time.

    F'ed up!

His jump in time would indicate almost 9 minutes if it is counting seconds. Perhaps its milliseconds

Interesting, I have had my phone since June 2 and I only have 7 minutes logged it and 194776 kilobytes.

I have definitely used the phone more than that.

I've had my phone for less than a week, "life timer (minutes) 9314". No way. I think the data may be accurate at 271221, but not sure.

It says Life Timer (minutes): 497 for me. That is a lot more than I've actually used so far. But it's definitely in minutes. Data seems to be right currently at 21663. Interesting. Must be a bug?
