Has anyone looked into Audile. I am a big user, so it jumped out at me. In my treo box is a 100$ cash back offer from audible. It says to go to http://www.audible.com/sprint/treo700p
however the address shows an error.

In the "install bonus software" section of the CD from sprint, one of the items listed is AudibleAir. It implys that in this new version you will be able to download audiobooks directly to your phone through EVDO. This would be an Awsome new feature that I would love to have, however when you clike the link to install the software, it sends you to the same broken link mentioned above.

Does anyone know anything about this ? Should we still expect it (the site is just late ?)

just do a search on audible for audible air. I had the same problem trying to install it from the cd. I got the error too. I downloaded audible air by doing a searcg on audible, You have to select the Palm OS version and device. The 700p isn't listed yet, so I put it as 650. It works great.

Somewhere on the CD, there was an Audible folder containing a file that linked to http://www.audible.com/palm/treo700p (note "palm" instead of "sprint") and that seems to work. Typo, I guess.

AudibleAir is great. I especially like the auto-update feature. I haven't noticed any issues withe the program on the 700. My only gripe is the interface.....it's just.....odd.

One additional note, I just found that you can stream audible content throught ORB as music. To me, this is even easier, although it dosn't seem to work with bookmarks, or remember your last stoping point. ORB and Audible are partners so hopefully they will work together on this.

I love audible. Audible air I have used much less than I thought I would.

Slightly off topic: Does the audible player/audible air work with a BT headset or only with the wired ear bud?

It soes not work with my bt headset. Presumably it would work with Softick Audio Gateway when they support the 700p in a couple of weeks.

I like Audible air, and now do not even use audible on the desktop. It takes about 20 minutes for me to upload an average size book on audible air.
