Can anyone describe as to whether using Chatter Email with EVDO is better at not having battery drain issues that we see with the Treo 600/650's (and as was documented by Chatter in http://www.chatteremail.com/index.ph...d=44&Itemid=57)? With the current version of Blackberry Connect not appearing to work on the 700p, I hope Chatter Email is working really well.

I just installed Chatter+ on my T700P with one Online IMAP mailbox, so we'll see how it drains (the battery, that is). It's too early for me to tell but I'll leave it off the charger over the weekend just to see.

I have the optional battery with 30% more capacity.

I also have the seidio 2400 battery, and rely on chatter. I am so glad that it works on my 700p. The blinking led notification also works perfectly.

I haven't noticed a real difference in battery life with EV-DO.

With the regular Treo battery on my 650 or 700P, I've had all-day battery life, with two IMAP mailboxes. That said, I'm not a heavy phone user - maybe twenty or thirty minutes per day. On the other had, my email volume is about 200 messages daily.
