i know there are some cites like cyclingnews.com & velonews.com that update very regularly (almost play-by-play updates) during tour stages, but i am wondering if anyone knows of any resident programs that can be useful for following the tour.

    thx in advance

Yes, there is a new version out at:

Any recommendation on a low-bandwidth video stream and/or text blog from the Tour that might be suitable for viewing on the Blazer browser? I do have the Treo 700p, so the EVDO should speed up things.

    Go Floyd Landis!!!

Does anyone know a website where I can sign up for daily emails/SMS messages with the day's stage winner?

Sparkomatic - Go to OLN.com (Outdoor Life Network) and see if they have something. I signed up for a daily e-mail and I think it was through them. let me know if that doesn't work and I'll respond when I get home in a few hours with the exact site.

Sparkomatic - Forget my post above. Go to active.com and sign up for updates there.
