    I ordered it through the sprint website minutes after it became available. I received my ship confirmation email Tuesday so I called, and after being on hold for 30 minutes finally got my tracking number. I check the number all day/night yesterday and it never showed up. I thought they had given me an invalid tracking number. When I checked again this morning it said it was "Out for Delivery".

    Ordered mine yesterday at noon, today it's out for delivery as well.

    I've had my quarrels with Sprint, but after easily getting switched to SERO and buying the 700p at a good discount yesterday, I have to give them props.

    I still hate Claire though.

    I called back again a few minutes ago - they said it was on backorder and that it was a "very popular phone." I too ordered mine yesterday at noon. She said I should receive it in 7 to 14 days! I guess I'll call back tomorrow.

In any event, I will hopefully be back to not needing to talk to them for a couple years.

    I called to check on my order from yesterday morning (thanks for the phone number TCers). They said that it was back-ordered but they just got a shipment in and she flagged my order to ship today - should receive it by tomorrow. She also said that a tracking # won't be available until late this afternoon if I care to call back then. I'll wait - been waiting over two and a half years so what's another day or two. Good luck everyone.

    ChemEngr - Just got off the phone and the rep told me that I'm still on backorder and that they have not received their shipment. She suggested I call back in a few days but mentioned that since I ordered yesterday, I was high on the list. I don't get it?

    I called this morning about my two orders: the first, a 650 ($99, what a deal) that I ordered on Sunday, and the 2nd, my 700p ($650-$75 rebate-$200+ in credits). I was told that my 650 hadn't been ordered, and that my 700 was being processed and I would have it no later than Saturday. They transferred me back over to retentions, re-ordered the 650, gave me an additional $12 credit, subtracted another $5 from my monthly pv (bringing it down to $15 for the $25 plan) and told me that I would get the 650 by Saturday.

    I called again a little while ago, to try to get a tracking number for my 700 and was told that it would go out by tomorrow, but that they didn't have the tracking number yet. Then I was told that the 650 should arrive today and they gave me the tracking number. Its in my area and out for delivery. Lol. Zany Sprint.

    Just called CSR, and was told my phone is on backorder - 2 to 3 weeks!!! I'm going to call retention and cancel my order.......and see what happens!

    I did the retentions thing last night and got it for 399.99 (just had to say verizon has it at that price) the guy told me i could call *2 in 24 hours and ask for the tracking number. ill call tonight.

    i just got with retention they were great. but some how they charged the treo700p at $400 to my account.. and now my balance is like 565.. now my phone is off.has this happend to any1 else.. i called cs and they said i will give u a $75 credit and once my check clears i will be back in service in about 2 to 4 hours

    I ordered thru retnetions yesterday afternoon. Today, no one could find my order. Turns out ithe order s in "processing" which takes 2-3 days, then the order is actually sent to shipping. Looks like next week for me.

    Since i "paid" $710 before rebate, and my account was credited that much the same day, and i have the phone, its like getting $1400 for free. I hope others here have the same luck.

    I called 'em up. A CSR gave me the tracking number. It's already there! Not bad, delivered barely 24 hours after I ordered it. Now I just have to figure out where that mystery $112 credit on my bill came from.

    jakerome, what was the charge for your phone on your actual Sprint bill? Was it the full $649, or did they just charge you whatever price your ended up with in your negotiations? Thanks.

    I ordered yesterday (5/30) at about 2:00pm MDT through Sprint telesales and was told my Treo would be delivered Thurs. 6/1. To my surprise, it was delivered this morning.

    NOW IT WILL BE ENDLESS HOURS - UPS could not deliver my Treo today. I'm fuming because SPRINT PCS failed to put my unit number on my shipment even though my unit number is clearly in my order and on my order confirmation!
    Saw UPS truck pull up outside for a minute around 3PM, then it drove off. Driver never got out. I was watching it happen. I checked UPS Web site repeatedly and just now saw the updated info below.
    Are the employees of Sprint really as dense as eveybody tells me they are?????

    This is absolutely ridiculous! I may now have to drive 20 miles to pick my Treo 700P up at the UPS depot. Nobody will be available here to sign for the package tomorrow. I certainly hope that Sprint's coverage and service are better than their administration and people seem to be. Things do not need to be so difficult! I learned in life that when you perform a task, pay attention to detail, and do it right the first time! I'm so pissed right now!

    After what I have experienced, one overly cheerful Sprint PCS Rep. had the nerve to tell me, a new Sprint customer, before she let me get off the phone with her: "Welcome to the Sprint PCS Family." OMG!

    I feel bad for you as you were waiting for it all day!! Sorry - that definitely sucks more than it being backordered!
