    Hi,

There is a neat backup tool on Orange's Treo 600 that saves user data via GPRS to an Orange server following a user-defined schedule. Unfortunately this server is not under my control, and if I lose my Treo I'll have to buy a new one to get my data back (if the backup application's still there on newer Orange Treos at all...). I therefore wonder if there's something similar out there that would backup wireless to an FTP server.

I know the solutions which backup to SD card, but they are not nearly as useful because if you lose your Treo, data are gone either.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,

    R.

    Try backupbuddy.net

I just realized that unfortunately it only works on the 600 and 650, not the 700p, at the moment.

Thanks for your answer, Dr. Grace.

There is no way to safe to an FTP server either, as far as I can see. But anyway - this would be a good way to bypass the Orange service if I once occur to buy a non-Orange Treo.

    Regards R.
