    I think if it's the real one, it will bring up the screen again with the two fields. The first field for your phone number and the second for the other number which I can't remember what it's called.

    you'd think so ... but of course since i brought up the one time msl, im the one that was told it. Damn old reps using P2k. But like rjmoose said, you should only get the msl, and if you can use it more than once its the msl

    What is the significance of the MSL? Why would somebody need (or just want) it again?

    What is the best way to go about getting my MSL for my 700P. I just exchanged a defective one at the Sprint Store and they activated it there.

    i would simply call sprint, from a phone other than the treo, and tell them you had a phone activated at a sprint store and its been the 2 hrs they said it would take and its still not working. Ask them to walk you through programing the phone again. What ever the number they tell you after ## is the msl.
