Just to clarify, I'm out of my contract and don't mind opening a new line with a new phone number.
Now THIS is the future of smartphones.

Thinking about signing up with the SERO plan, but feel kind of guilty using the email addresses floating around. Am I the only one?

No, you're not the only one that would feel guilty. Some of us signed up with a legitimate referral...

Bad luck so far. I tried calling the SERO number but they didn't want to activate my 700p as they said that they only handled new phone sales. They told me to call Sprint's activation number instead. So then I called that number but the person I spoke to there wasn't familiar with SERO. So now I'm back on hold with the SERO line again, in hopes that the first SERO rep I spoke with didn't know what they were talking about.
Now THIS is the future of smartphones.
