    I don't think it's gonna be offered through the SERO site even before the SERO offer expires.

    I'll just have to take a chance and call to see what happens. I've got a note on my account to credit me $200 to any new phone I want. Maybe I can swing the extra $100 discount that they're offering on the website too and grab it for $379.

    Sprint's press release on May 16 said that the 700P would go for $399 with all discounts applied. According to the website, I could get it for $429 ($679 minus $150 "instant savings" and $100 web discount). So where's my extra $30? Also, if I buy it in a store, will it end up being $529 because there's no web discount?

    The $429 price seems OK, but I'll still going to check out the Sprint store. If anyone get's a better price (other than the Palm $399)...post it...Of particular interest is if current Sprint customers, renewing contracts, can do better than $429.

    If I read it right, the $150 only applies if you open a new line?

    Or if you renew your 2 year agreement...I thought the instant savings was different. I was dreaming that you can actually get the phone for $279...doesn't look that way.

    they raised the price from 649.99 to 679.99

    Its amazing that they charge more than the Palm site. I think they are trying out Verizon's philosophy, "Can you feel me now?"

Save almost $200 for waiting till Tues, hell yes that price is just a*sanine. I dont see them selling many full price at that amount. No sane person will shell out over $700, we all thought $649 was bad enough.
    Maybe Sprint is taking advice from the Auto Industry... Mark something up 55%, just so you can show someone a 50% discount.

    Or maybe Sprint heard the old Car Sales Ad-age... the customer that pays the most is always the happiest... the customer that nickels and dimes you, always feels that they could have done better! After all, Sprint just wants happy customers!!

    I went to Palm's site and they're selling it to me for $649.00! How did you get it for $100 cheaper? Did you qualify for a rebate or something?

    Probably used the $100 developer discount. If you are not signed up as a developer already, then you are out of luck for that discount. Do a search for developer on this 700p board and you will see plenty of info on it.

    what's the best way to get a cheap plan and a cheap phone price if you have been a customer for 10 years + and are not currently on a contract?
    I don't use a lot of minutes but i use data all the time.

    Got mine today at a Sprint Store for $399 net, but not without a lot of work! I was eligible for $150 for having my 600 for 2 yrs. I tried to get them to match the $100 web discount or Verizon's $399 price, which they said they would until they found out I wasn't a new customer. At that point, I left and called Customer Care, and got connected to retentions after uttering something about Verizon. They gave me a $100 service credit. They also gave me some monthly text messages when I said I was bummed about losing that from my old $10 Vision plan.

    In the end, I got what I wanted, but it took 3 trips to the store, and 3 calls to Sprint.

    Franklin Planner -> Palm III -> Treo 300 -> Treo 600 ->PPR -> Treo 700p finally!
