    Hey All
I got so frustrated with not having my 700p over the holiday to play with I went to the store prematurely selling them and bought one at full price til my shipment from Palm arrives.
    It IS very cool.
?...is there a screen signal indicating EVDO is being used.
I don't see one and I'm in Chicago.
(By the way, typing is SO much easier than the 650)

The indicator for EVDO should be on the phone screen. You'll see three upwards triangles, followed side by side with three downfacing triangles. if they are lit up and 'in motion' then you are browsing at EVDO speeds.

From what i remember, when the bars are blue, that means EVDO, when they're green, that's 1x

It would be nice if someone would create an app that would disconnect your Internet connection if you were not on EVDO. This would prevent you from missing a call if you dropped off the EVDO and tried to connect to the 1xrtt network.
