is there a way to store voice memos on the sd card? where are they stored by default? I assume its the device but I don't think it says so anywhere.

I dont see a way to do it, it doesn't give any options to copy to card. It does let you send it though... i guess you could email it and then place it on the card... I just dont think that you could listen to it if that was the case.

After you make the recording and it saves it to internal memory, use a file manager like FileZ or ZLauncher's built in file manager, to transfer the recording to SD card.

Did you check the pref. in VoiceMemo app? It would be a shame to not be able to record to the card.

check the sd card using filez to see if your memo is in a record folder. if not check prefs to see if ther is an sd store option. I would be very surprised if palm neglected a voice memo store option on the 700p.

If it is only internal storage, someone will likely come out with their own version that stores to the SD.

Is anyone else just way too excited over this application? I've wanted voice memo ever since I got rid of my HP 4355 PDA. It's so convenient to use, and I can hold it away from my mouth and it still records. This is great for when I'm driving, because previously when an idea came to me I would type it in Tasks (yes, while driving, I know). This way I can listen to my insane ideas later.

Have you tested playback after recording while driving?

I know with most of the previous aps that allowed recording on a 600 or 650, they sounded great on playback of normal recordings--in an office, at school, etc....but were all garbled when the recording was made while traveling in a running vehicle (some sort of interference as I recall). Has this been fixed with the new recording ap?

Haven't tested it as of yet, so I will do that tomorrow. What would REALLY be great is recording from my bluetooth headset, but I won't push it.

Has anyone tested recording in a running vehicle? How is playback quality?

Sorry, I did say I would check this out. I did 3 memos while driving and I had the air conditioner on and the radio. Very clear! I had it about 3 inches from my mouth approximately.
