ROM / Real file name in Treo
    TexterApp.bprc / Nexter.prc
    TexterApp_CROW.cprc / Nexter_CROW.prc
    TexterApp_CROW_enUS.lprc / Nexter_CROW_enUS.prc
    TexterApp_enUS.oprc / Nexter_enUS.prc
And? This applies to the development of a ROM editing tool for the 700p how?

This appears to be a dump of the 700P ROM --> http://www.treo.net.cn/software/treo...0p_rom_rip.zip

    Can anyone confirm?
  3. #183
The problem is not extracting a rom dump from the device, the problem is flashing it as they have changed the media storage method used on the 650 which we had cracked. The 700p now uses 2 different types of memory for different purposes.

I actually believe the delay of a rom update could be in response to the 650's rom hacks; they may very well be delaying to come up with a means of keeping the method "secure". We will just have to see.

I am coming from a 650 and moved all my apps over to the 700p. (about 30-45apps) The only one so far that didn't work was Dimmer. Teallock was a little quirky.. Installed newest last night.

Is it possible to extract the rom to find the SPC code??? I am not into flashing. my passthrough (with pl2303 serial) doesn't work for some reason with bitpim

This contains "strings" of the v1.40 700p rom/0.14 bootloader. http://www.mytempdir.com/1154127
If someone wants the full rom to help me find the SPC please pm me. (12mb)
If you can extract the files from my rom image, you can get v1.40 of palm 700p rom (Telus). I don't know if it will fix some issues or not??

Also there is no pullrom/getrom commands in this bootloader!!! Why does shadowmite say:

Does anyone have an update of this? I have a Telus 700p and it uses bootloader v0.14, the rom version is 1.40
while nobody can extract it? extract only from ram?? where is the SPC token in ram.? does it need decryption?

I use mtty and this is the output
Has there been any update for 700p? I get a ">" prompt instead of "USB>>"
my bootloader is v0.14, rom version 1.40

This is a dump from mtty

can't you do a sd2ram and reflash that way?
  10. #190
I would not try, because if phone is dead nobody can help me.
  11. #191
My phone is already dead because I tried to flash a 700wx with a 700w firmware in hopes of changing it from sprint to vzw....do you know how I could force it into bootloader mode? I'll try it.
  12. #192
Well a 700w I don't have. So the press hotsync while press reset doesn't work? does windows still detect an xxo2 XDA or something similar?

There is a "erasefat" command in the bootloader. but I don't want to try that command.
