Beats the heck out of the rates that Win-Hand goober is charging, and it doesn't run through some unknown guy's server. Too bad I'm running XP Home instead of XP Pro; otherwise, I'd try it out tonight.

You mean that if my Monitor resolution is higher than 1024x768 that I will not be able to use EzRemote with it?

EzRemote is great value when I compare it to MobileTS. The I never registered MobileTS is there's no facility to access the Console session in Windows 2003 Server. When travelling I find it most useful to leave my Console session running. This isn't an issue with XP because you can only have one active session running.

Does EzRemote support access to the Console session? If you're not familiar, on a Windows machine, go to Start>Run and enter "mstsc /console"

    TIA

You can use a VNC program for free to do the same thing, cobra. . .

Thanks. VNC is on my to-do list. I was just hoping to somehow use RDS because a) it seems a bit more flexible/powerful than VNC, and b) it seems the setup is easier.

But yeah, it looks like VNC is the way to go for me.

I can't get this to work... I have followed all instructions and nothing. My Treo 700p just says that I should check for the sever name but nothing.
    Here are my settings:
    -Spring Treo 700p
-SBC ADSL with Linkys Wireless access point and a non static IP
    -Win XP Pro computer

    What I did:
-Have an admin user with password
-Open the port 3389 on my the router and WinXP firewall
-Created an account at No-ip and have a host name
-I'm able to ping my host name and it works
-my computer is setup at 192.168.1.1 and my hot name points to the same place which is also the address of my router configuration

I don't know why is not working. Could anybody help me with this?

    Thanks,

    Al
