I just went on the palm website to search this answer and it said one year, but apparently I was reading on here that it is 2 years, what's the deal? Thanks.

    PS I purchased through Sprint.

Just to point out in Canada carriers such as Rogers don't provide extended warranty coverage past the manufacturer standard 1 year warranty. Though their authorized dealers such as "Rogers Plus" and "The Source" do. I was surprized to find a Rogers Plus dealer location in Calgary that offered liquid damage as part of their 3 year extended warranty coverage. Considering that not all of us are gentle 24/7 in our busy lifestyles it makes perfect sense to get extended warranty coverage. Especially if you don't plan on upgrading your hardware annually. Since I'm planning on moving to B.C. soon near the coast it made perfect sense for me to have liquid damage. Though I don't plan on surfing or scuba diving with my Treo
