    Got another suggestion...

Daily I usually have enough calendar and To Do entries to cause the screen to have to scroll down to see things.

Having an additional page or view in 2Day as an option would be great for people that dont want to see their To Do's on the same page as their calendar entries, but want them on their own separate 2Day page- the Task view page. The sort order would be the same as that defined on the Prefs- To Do option screen. No Launcher icons on this page (just as the Week View doesnt have them at the bottom).

I suggest 2 new options in the Operations preference.
    > Datebook button runs 2day
--- in day view, then Task view
    and
--- in day view, then week view, then Task view

This way a user could have calendar entries on their Day view and then with a button press get the Task view- PERFECT!!

BTW- I know I can choose to launch Tasks as an option on this screen, but it doesnt sort the way I want- see previous post- and it doesnt look as nice as 2Day.

I like having to do's included with the day view and the week view. Guess it depends on how you use tasks relative to appointments, etc.

I do too, but I have too many to be convenient on 1 page. My suggestion is to leave it with the way it is today but also offer a new alternative view as well.

    Hi,

I will consider this for the "next gen."

In the meantime - you can set "start in summary" in the "To do" preferences page - it will condensate the tasks to a single line, when you press on that line - it will expand to full view.

hmmm. interesting idea using the 'Start in Summary'.

This might just do it for me if I put the To Do's above the calendar. When it expands, it pushes the calendar down. Question though is how do you get the Todo's to RE-collapse?

Well - a bit slappy, but if you also check "every day" there - you just move to next day, then back...
