I have a TREO 650 and after a few months of having it I started installing EVERYTHING. Well now I get the short lock ups/freezes. I have WAY TOO MANY THINGS to remove one at a time. Nothing is on my phone that I really want other then my CONTACTS and maybe my calender.

I keep reading where people are talking about a HARD RESET, but no where can I find out what it does or how to do it. Is this something I should even be looking at?

Heck, it would not hurt me the least to just wipe my phone clean and start over. Any suggestions?

    THanks in advance

    1. Rename your desktop /Palm/<username>/Backup directory (to, say, "Backup.old")

    2. Perform a hard reset

    3. Hotsync

That'll load just your PIM data without any of your 3rd party apps - basically, a "clean" phone.
