What's all the hoopla about this 700p? You mean I gotta upgrade my 700w already?

    Just kidding. ;-)

My friend Perry will be the 1st in line on Telesales or the Sprint store; otherwise he cannot come out of the PPR

Yes and no.....Think of it as Windows [whatever] versus Windows [whatever] with "Service Pack 3"

I've already got the money set aside for close to whatever the FRP would be for the phone. It's just a question of if VZW gets the 700P & If I choose to upgrade...
    I'm not weird... I'm gifted!!!

With a busted up 650, there's no question I'm going with the 700p!

I'm definitely getting one the very second it's available.

I wonder who'll be the first to own one here. Hmmm...

    Yes! I will get it.

After watching this forum DAILY for what seems like forever with its anticipation (and antics) it would be a let down not to get it. Upgrading from a 600 makes it a no-brainer.

I keep telling myself I'm going to wait, listen to the reviews and gripes, then make an informed decision regarding my 650 and the new 700p. But we all know that's bull. I'm just gonna buy one the second I can find an unlocked GSM model. Looks like I'll probably have to wait anyway as the GSM crowd seems to get the last release, and the unbranded ones from the Palm Store are the very last of those. So basically, I'm screwed. I'll be reading the glowing reviews, folks extolling the virtues of the updated OS, making wild-arse claims about new and improved stability, features and whatnot, while I go quietly out of my mind. It's gonna be a long summer....

    SERO PLAN @ $600, NO
    SERO PLAN @ $525 YES!!!
(Remember, I'm employed by the larger of Cingular's two parents w/ an employee discount plan on Cingular and using an unlocked GSM 650 - The SERO cost per month will have me at the break even point in just over 10 months if I pay Sprint $525 for my #700p - SERO ROCKS, otherwise I'd remain loyal to my company at $600 more per year for service WITH my discount!
    What is a SERO PLAN??
Jumpin' thru hoops for a new Treo...

I'm standing in line right behind rambo47. I'm on T-Mobile and want a GSM model. I will watch from afar while all you CDMA types have a party. I the meantime I will entertain idle thoughts of clandestine interludes with an E61. Maybe 6900. But I really want the 700.

I've been telling my wife how much she needs a 650. My 650 that is.

I'm not sure, yet. I was sure up until yesterday that the 700p was my next phone, but Sprint is also releasing the Blackberry 7130i on the same day and I may opt for the reliability of the Blackberry over the "do everything" of the Treo 700p. I think I at least have to try a Blackberry and see what all the noise is about.

As an added bonus, the days (or weeks) I spend experimenting with the Blackberry can be used to get the 700p more stable than the 650 currently is.

    Right?
    Palm IIIe -> Palm IIIc -> Samsung SPH-I300 -> Samsung SPH-I330 -> Dell Axim A5 -> Treo 600 -> Treo 650 -> Tungsten T5 -> Treo 700p
