I just got a card reader for my computer to drop files into my sd card without having to hotsynch the whole world on my treo. I dropped a .wmv file in the card, but i cant find it at all. It shows that its taking up space on my memory card, but i cant find it. If anybody can help out it would be great.

Did you format before installing ? Most people seem to have problems in this arena. 3 options:

    1. Format in Treo
    2. Format via Softick Card Export
    3. Format in Card Reader.

Which one works best / worst ?

    All of them

For some 1 works and the other 2 don't
For some 2 works and the other 2 don't
For some 3 works and the other 2 don't

So try all 3 before ya give up.

Thanks. I didnt know the files had to be formatted. I thought I could just drop the files in the card. How would I format it in my treo?

No, the card is like a hard drive....you format the storage medium before putting files on it.

What program are you trying to use to see it?

Im using "TCPMP" to view my videos. I dropped the videos in the "DCIM" folder in the memory card and it shows that its there on my pc, but not on my treo.

    TCPMP doesn't play .wmv files.
