I am pretty sure that this has to be a reported issue but I have done several searches (maybe not using the correct words) and I have found nothig.

The fact is that I find the stylus out of the Treo in my pocket too many times. it seems that the holder has lost its effectivity (maybe due to the use)

Have you reported this? is there any known solution?

you might try applying a strip of tape or two around the stylus. that did the trick for me.

I had the same problem. The 'bend it' solution worked but I stumbled upon an even more elegant solution -- I gave my old Treo 650 with the slippery stylus to my wife and bought a new one. Problem solved!

IN a strange way, this helped my brother: He tried the scotch-tape method... but I bought a SEIDIO Battery cover with the RESET Hole... wouldn't you know the STYLUS fit even more SNUG... I bought one for him and it HELPED improve his lose stylus problem...

Bending it worked for me. (In ever so slightly steps until you get the right tension.)

open the battery cover, remove the stylus, & stick some scotch tape somewhere in the groove where the stylus was.

Thanks a lot for the replies. I think I'll go for the bending option

you can also add take to the inside of the battery cover... keeps the stylus in and gets rid of the creaking battery cover!

You can also try the replacment stylus from palm. $14.95 for 3 and they also have a built in pen. They seem to fit more snug in the Treo.
