    so,

i need a timer for exercise to do this:

count down 6 3-minute intervals with a one-minute interval in between each 3-minute interval. so it would count down, with an alarm after each interval (preferably 2 sounds) in this order:

    3 (alarm 1)
    1 (alarm 2)
    3
    1
    3
    1
    3
    1
    ...

its for boxing rounds, if that gives anyone a better idea of what i need.

    free is always best!

    thanks

    hey matty,

i'm not sure of any PalmOS software that does this, but i'm pretty sure my fiance's Timex has this ability. it's the digital sport indiglo one...i know, that REALLY narrows it down!

we bought her the watch for working out about 6 or 7 months ago and it was $20! take a look at some of the Timex sports watches (try http://www.timex.com !) because i'm 95% sure they have a watch for this purpose.
wow, it's been awhile.....things have REALLY changed...why is my Visor Edge still in my hand? Will a Treo fit better?

Hi there Matty. BigClock 2.81 is a freeware program available on http://www.palmgear.com I downloaded it today and it is fully configurable. It has an alarm/stopwatch/timer. I think it should do what you want it to do.

yeah - i had the ironman watch, and i thought it could do it too, but could never figure out how to make it actually do it. i lost that watch anyway.

i have 2.5 and i can't get it to automatically switch timers. i'll check out the new version.

ideally i would never touch the timer during the workout... it would just tell me when to switch and automatically count down the interval... maybe i'm asking too much?

thanks for the suggestions, kids. keep 'em coming!
