I currectly have the trial version of pqdvd, but dont want to shell out so much money for something i'm only going to use once in a while. And its a pain in the *** to have to babysit it so it'll continue taping every 5-10 minutes. Is there anything thats freeware that does the same thing as pqdvd for palm? (that preferably doesn't only record in 5-10 minute intervals.)
What can I say? A girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do!

I already have tcpmp and love it. i'm talking about something for my computer that I can use to convert dvds and mpgs to a smaller version. like pqdvd's pocket dvd, but hopefully free

If you're using a Linux distribution such as SUSE Linux then I'd recommend "3gp Movie Wizard" as seen here http://kde-apps.org/content/show.php?content=35274 or something like "DVD Rip-O-Matic" http://kde-apps.org/content/show.php?content=21455 Both are released under the GPL and are free. Out of the two 3gp Movie Wizard should suit your needs. As for the video player application on my Treo 650 I just use TCMP http://www.tcmp.org/ due to it offers the best codec support and is free.
