Well, something in my backup is causing the resets. A hard reset and upload of a custom ROM produces no reset but when I restore my backup data, the phone reset loops. Anyone have a "Snickers"?

Try doing a warm reset (reset while holding up arrow) then go into phone app and check the ERR (377) message. It may point you to the right app. If you haven't done the 377 thing before it is #*377 send on my GSM, for VZN I think it is ##377# not for sure.
    PalmIII > PalmIIIx > PalmIIIxe > TRGPro > Handera 330 > Zire71 > Treo600 > Treo650 > Treo680 > Treo750 > Centro > TreoPro > iPhone 32GB 3GS

Ok, fixed the problem. My IR Keyboard app was crashing the MemroyMgr. I removed the app. Uploaded a ROM with no spanish language or tutorial app and NO reset loops. Thanks for your help. For the record. Verizon ERR is #*#377 Send.

This is simply awesome, thanks for developing and providing this to the community for free. I had used shadowmite's tool up to now, this makes it even simpler and a lot faster. Amazing what the community will come up with.

Anyone who hasn't tried it yet but has customized their rom should use this.

I'm stuck on "Found phone, waiting for bootloader." My PC recognized my HTC USB Sync, so I was never prompted for my .INF file. In Control Panel, I updated the driver with the file that came with the ROM Tool, but that doens't seem to help me. Something else I can try?

    FWIW
This happened to me. What I found was that I need to get to the "rainbow" screen and then run the Rom Tool program. I couldn't get it to work if I had the program already open.

Yeah, I thought it might be that for me too, but it still gets stuck waiting on bootloader. I tried it on multiple PC's too and multiple hotsync cables.

    BINGO! Well done!!
Now, all I want to do is the FAT32 thing so that I can use my new 4 gig card. I'm happy with my present ROM. What do I do now?

    download
    swap fast16 for fat32
    upload
    But I can't seem to find fat32.prc...

Ok, all of this is exciting and I want to add FAT32 to my Treo (so I can use the 4GB card I've been salivating over). However... I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I'M DOING!
Can someone please help a complete dummy (me) with an *****-proof step-by-step process if the only thing I want to do is add FAT32? I'm beggin' here.

    Thanks!

    Oh, and I have a Cingular-locked T650.

I'm also stuck in "Found phone. Waiting for bootloader."!
I think it's because there's a password on the phone. I know what the password is but i can't get past that Palm One, Palm Powered loop! I've tried all the resets. Warm, hard, soft and a zero out. Nothing

    Any ideas

    Help!

You need to remove the password on the Treo then do it again.
