    Hi all!

I started this thread hoping to get inputs on Treo clocks that
    have chimes:
    http://discussion.treocentral.com/sh...d.php?t=110867

The FREE software suggested - TowerClock - looks promising.
However, I'm unable to download it from the link posted. Are
there any tricks to downloading from freewarepalm.com?

    Any clues?

    Thanks and regards,

Try chime. I have fallen in love with it. Fantastic, works great, and FREE.
Actually, you can have a chime, counted off time, or a male or human voice actually SAYING the time. I use the latter.

Silent-cue is another really cool free program these folks make:

    Here is a LINK

    enjoy!

    Hi shadowboxer,

That is really a cool collection of utilities for Palm.

But I've tried Chime and it tends to crash my Treo
with its combination of programs... and it is also very
"heavy" at 782 KB, which is why I am searching for
    alternatives.

    Hi all,

I tried TowerClock and then reinstalled Chime... It would be just
great, only if it were not for the bug in my installation.

The chimes are preceeded by lighting-up of the screen and keyboard.
The "bug" in Chime is, the keyboard remains lit-up even after the chime
ends and even after the mandatory timed shut-off.

Anybody else experience this? See my signature for my Treo configuration.
    Chime is Ver 1.2
