I've got Hotsync Manager set to "Always Available"

I'm set up so that I can hotsync using a cradle, or over the network (wireless).

If I log into my PC using remote desktop, I can no longer hotsync. not over wireless, not using the cradle. the treo searches for the PC but always reports that it was unable to find it.

Logging out of remote desktop doesn't help.

As soon as I log back into my computer from the keyboard, hotsync works again- both cradle and wireless.

ARGH!

Is there any way to get HotSync manager to run when the PC boots, rather than being controlled by a login?

This little problem really screws up working from the road.
