Got a new work PC yesterday and it runs Win XP64 bit. Which is great for my CAD software, but no good for Hotsync.

Can I put a USB bluetooth dongle on the PC and sync to my Treo 650 using Bluetooth?

    Thanks.

Maybe with the right incantations, you could install XP(32bit) or 2000 underneath, and use something like VMWare? Otherwise it's not supported.

Considering 64 bit for the office CAD stations now but if we go that way will be dual boot.

If you get a bluetooth device with a 64bit driver, that should definetively work...
Also a serial cable should work fine.
It's a bit slow, but indeed faster than rebooting...
Unfortunately, there's no USB Palm driver for XP64... so no way to hotsynch via USB
