I have the datatech tool and have moved the docs to go to memory card - problem is the docs to go keeps moving back to RAM every few days.

    Anyone else see this?

Can't email Dataviz for the life of me - its like Fort Knox on that website!

Think I might go to Quick Office if no luck with docs to go.

Docs to go 7.0 does the same for me. Everytime I use sheetogo, it moved sheettogo to RAM and didn't move back.

Are you closing your documents? If you exit D2G without closing the document the app remains in memory... happeneds to me on occasion as I forget to do this...

I've had issues with this but... on my NX70... a while ago...

Are you closing the file correctly by using the icon at the bottom left part of the document instead of just hitting the home key?

Yep, if you don't close the document you are working on before going back to the launcher, Docs to Go will remain in RAM. It would do that even when I used a Tungsten.

Forget the datatech tool. That's old news. Use "Manage Applications" from the Docs to Go drop-down menu to move the apps to card.

The "Manage Applications" function in DTG 8.0 does the move app thing, but the latest Tech Tool has additional functionality you may or may not need/use.

    Cheers, Perry.

Huh? What "app thing"? Perry, can you please elaborate?
I thought "Move Applications to Card" was all I needed?
    I get about 5 megs.

    Thanx.

    That app thing . . . . .

In the DataViz Tech Tool application under advanced options there are 3 additional delete functions I have never used, nor have I read up on them.
So, the Tool has more functions than the "Manage Applications" drop down menu within DTG. The manage applications within DTG is probably all you need to keep the internal memory clear.

    Cheers, Perry.

Ver 8.001 was terrible and full of bugs. Ver 8.003 is much more stable and doesn't have the problem with downloads.

I moved my apps to the card as well, however there is nothing in the launcher view to click on - i.e., I can't start up DTG???? Using the Tech tool I verified that apps are on the card (and a couple of residuals in RAM), anyone have a clue?
