Has anyone else had this problem. I can't seem to get it to stop and, frankly, find it a bit frustrating.

Does your Hotsync log end with a series of apps 1) being backed up or 2) being restored?

OK, no problem there...What does ERR (377) reveal, if entered after one of these resets?

I just type in 377? Is there an enter key?

You might also check out this post as it might be the same issue you're seeing.

    It reads:

"A reset was caused on 3/14/06 @ 2:31 p.m. while running 'Hot Sync'; Fatal Exception" (Khaytsus - I am not sure that post is the same issue.)

Well, lets find out. Right click on the Hotsync Manager icon in your program tray, choose Custom and change the action of each of your PIM conduits (Calendar, Tasks, Memos, Contacts) to "Do Nothing", and hotsync again. If it doesn't end in a crash, change one of those conduits to Synchronize and try again; continue until it crashes again.

It didn't crash immediately. When I went to turn it on, through the phone button, it crashed.

Same error message? Try turning off the rest of the conduits, too (Adobe, Media, Versamail, Call Log+, etc)...

Bill: Thanks. My resets were increasing exponentially. I did a hard reset and erase the backup folders. I decided to try to rebuild the phone. Here are the majority of the apps that I enjoy, any thoughts on putting the phone back together? For example, what order should I put the apps back on the phone?
    TMP
    OnGuard
    Cleanup
    Uninstall
    Directory Assistant
    TAKEphONE
    xWeather
    Call Log+
    PowerRun
    Butler
(Google Maps and Java but run out of room on RAM)
XLauncher (but am looking for new launcher)
    Astraware Sodoku
    Ringo
