Typing in the the regular address (www.google.com) defaults to the mobile version (www.google.com/xhtml). I guess the Treo/Blazer sends the code while surfing that identifies it as a mobile device.

Is there a command-line or something that gets me to the regular Google page (and search results) that I get from my PC?

If I use WebViewer, I get to the "real" google home page in Canada.

I've yet to figure out a direct way to do this. My work-around: I use Advanced Search as my bookmark. Once that search runs, I see the fuller Google interface I want. (Doncha luv it when folks fix stuff that ain't broken, and actually break it in the process?! <sigh>)

You could do what I do.. I have a local set of web pages that have my favorite links, and inside of one of them I actually have a google search form where I can search google directly from that page instead of going to google first.

You need a little background on html to know what to copy over, but it's not difficult or anything, and my files are in this post if you want to look for example.

I might have a link to Google's PDA search engine come to think of it, but you can at least see what I did, then go to the google homepage, view the source, and replace the form information.
