I've been a loyal Acid image (yes THAT is how long I've been a CLIE user, lol)... but looking to finally upgrade my viewer for Tif files...

I tried Resco Viewer... really good program BUT it cannot view PNG/TIF files natively (so states the manual and it could not open my tif files from a Mac)... rendering is nice and speedy.

BUT, I am probably going to purchase: GrxView Pro from http://www.indevsoftware.com/ (makers of TiBR reader)...

Well IT can read native png files (good for Mac users), and TIFF files =)
I've read complaints of slow rendering of images... really? As long as the plug-ins are in memory... not bad (it renders TIFs so much faster than Acid Image Pro =( (I really tried to give this version a chance)... though A tad slower on jpgs than Resco Viewer (who knows why...)

BUT, I wanted to let you all know that I CONTACTED THEM with the request to provide the option for ANIMATED GIFs... and they said that in the following week(s) version 3 will be released... and IT WILL be able to view animated Gifs.

BTW, free upgrades to all CURRENT 2.xx users.

Just though I'd let you know...

Opinions? Comments? What experience do you have with image viewers???
