    Hello all,

The first utility I installed on my brand new Treo 650 was SharkMsg.
I briefly tried out LudusW with every intention of buying it. But since
then I have gone back to SharkMsg.

The real problem is the SharkMsg/ LudusW simply does not function
reliably. The window pops up when it should not. Sometimes it hangs
    the phone...

Currently, both are installed on my phone, but disabled. (Could this
be the problem, both being installed?)

Question: Should I give it up?

    Game over!

I chose the second option, though I wouldn't call you a moron.

Try hard resetting and installing just LudusW.

    Ok all,

I've removed everything and installed LudusW again. In summary,
this is what is supposed to happen:

    1) If you terminate an incoming call, the LudusW window should
    pop-up (with Manual option)

    2) If the caller terminates an incoming call, the LudusW Window
    should pop-up.

Of the above, (1) happens reliably. (2) never happens, instead
the native "missed call" window pops-up.

I have an Unlocked Cingular Treo 650 with 1.17 updater installed.

As already mentioned elsewhere, if you have a number in the favourites
buttons, LudusW is unable to decide if it is a mobile number or not.

hi! sharkmsg/ludusw is not supposed to pop up when the OTHER pary disconnects... i'm quite sorry if i ever said that (i don't remember saying that anywhere, and certainly not in hte documentation)

the idea is that when you get a call, you choose to ignore it and THAT is when you would want to send an explanatory SMS. i don't think an explanatory SMS would be necessary if the caller decides to hang up.

    cheers, tyler

    Thanks Mr. Tyler,

That cleared the confusion and a little bit of frustation at my end. Note to
    self: RTFM.

    However...

With SharkMsg, the window DID pop-up (but the phone used to keep up the
ringing, despite the caller hanging up, this was not good).

This is definitely a matter of personal preference and I have nothing to say
if SharkMsg and LudusW are designed to behave that way, but you will notice
that the the native "Missed Call" window helpfully provides an "SMS Caller"
    button.

    With warm resets,

PS: If possible, can this (SMS on Receiver Disconnect, SMS on Caller
Disconnect, SMS on both) be a configurable option in LudusW?

Yes and also show the contact's name in the exceptions window instead of their phone number.

Bugs and all, I purchased the registration to LudusW
today (still to get the actual code, though!)

Maybe I can now formally put in my request for the
previously mentioned enhancement via these forums:
Can this (SMS on Receiver Disconnect, SMS on Caller
Disconnect, SMS on both) be a configurable option in
    LudusW?

I can see the difficulty though: you have both the
native popup AND the LudusW popup to deal with.
