I think this has been discussed one or two times. Try a search for "best bluetooth" using the quotation marks.

The search function remains a mystery to many.

BTW, my treo is doing fine.

My Treo is doing fine as well!

But while we're at it, once the mystery of the best BT headset is solved, can someone tell me what "must-have" apps I should get?

    'preciate it!

Hey, there is a new app that causes a little snowflake looking thing to appear. Not sure what the program is called, but it is cool, better than the taxi even.

Oh, and my treo is still working fine

I, personally, use the Sony HBH-300 with great results. Great outgoing sound because of the boom mic, battery life second to none, tough as nails, instant two way pairing. You need to use an eargel and a Radioshack Tie-clip microphone wind screen to get full both way performance on the sound. I've found this little $2.50 wind screen to be very helpful, especially here in Chicago. I have also read many positive reviews of the Plantronics Voyager 510, and have considered trying it, especially the new version with upgraded wind cancelling software. I've tried alot of these headsets, and read tons of reviews. These two, I think, can be said to be the favorites both here and at Mytreo.net. Both of these headsets can be had for well under $100.00 and are the best at any price.

    Vipa:

The users of this forum spent many hours typing detailed answers to questions asked here on the forum. They do not get paid for their time and are only too glad to do it. After the 5th or 10th or 20th time you have answered the same question, please understand that it can be a bit disconcerting to yet again see the same question asked and see the identical thread title sitting 4 lines down in the "new posts" list.

No one minds answering a question for someone in need of help but it seems a bit presumptuous to ask people to do the same thing over and over again for one person's instant gratification....and then to repeat the effort every other day.

Our usual course in answering questions that have been asked before is to do the search that would have given the questioner an answer in 3 seconds. But when people start asking the same question over again and gain, it makes it that much harder for even the regulars to find the answers.

I just did a title search on "Bluetooth headset 650" and received 51 hits. Would none of these have answered your question ?

Now at least FIVE of these threads are entitled BEST BLUETOOTH HEADSET FOR 650 ! or something darn close to it.

As a new user would you rather the regulars spent their time typing answers to questions that do NOT appear on the board already or spend their time pointing people to infrmation that is readily available if they bothered to invest 6 seconds of thier own time in answering the question ?

I usually just answer the question and then try and educate the new user on how to use the serach button. But you have 130+ posts already and should be well aquainted by now with its usage. I wouldn't have brought any of this up but to tell people they suck because you want them to run search for an answer you could have easily gotten yourself, especially when your chosen thread title duplicates 5 other thread titles already on the board almost word for word is a bit out of line IMHO.
